Spotlight Vocal Lab is a private voice studio in Pleasantville, NY, specializing in musical theatre and contemporary music. Lessons are one-on-one, built around your voice and your goals, and grounded in one core belief: the music you love is the best tool for learning to sing.

We work on the music you're actually preparing: a song from your audition list, something you heard and couldn't stop thinking about, a piece that feels just out of reach. That's not the easy route, it's the most effective one. Real technique gets built through real music, and you learn faster when you care about what you're working on.
In a typical lesson, we might work on your breath support using a verse from your audition cut, use a chorus to explore where your chest voice and head voice connect, or find out what happens to your sound when you stop trying so hard and just sing.
The goal of every lesson: you know exactly what to practice, and you're already looking forward to next week.

Pricing
The Full Year
Consistent lessons, real growth, the easiest way to work together.
A full year of weekly lessons: 34 guaranteed lessons, with three bonus weeks already built in (no makeups to schedule, no lessons to chase down).
$315/month for 12 months, or ask about paying in full. Includes sheet music, a Full Voice workbook, a binder, a spot in the recital, and student portal access.
Enrollment is for a full year: that’s what lets me hold your weekly time for the whole season.
The Punch Card
Four lessons, real flexibility. $420 for four lessons ($105 each), valid for six weeks from purchase. Book at a consistent weekly time, or fit lessons in as things come up. Sheet music is included; recital participation is available for an additional fee.
Single Lessons
Book one at a time. $120 per lesson, booked and paid as you go. Sheet music is included, and a fee applies for recital participation.
Already enrolled in tuition? You get a lower rate ($105) for any extra lessons you’d like to add.

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and honestly, sometimes easier to work with, because there are no old habits to unlearn. Lessons are always tailored to where you are right now.

Mostly musical theatre and pop, the styles you actually want to sing. We’ll work on belting, mixing, and the kind of singing that sounds like the artists you actually listen to, using repertoire you care about to build real, transferable technique.

Absolutely. Many of my students start with no formal training at all. Our free intro call is a great way to meet and see if it's a good fit, no commitment required.

Once you book a free intro call and we decide to move forward, I’ll send you a scheduling link to choose your lesson type and set up your time. Lessons are available in-person in Pleasantville or over Zoom.

None of the three lesson options include traditional makeup lessons. Consistency is what actually builds vocal progress, and tuition already includes three bonus weeks built in for exactly this reason. I ask for as much advance notice as possible if you know you’ll need to miss a lesson; it helps me plan my week, though it doesn’t change your enrollment.
